Grand Cayman is the largest and most developed of the three Cayman Islands and is home to the capital George Town. The island is very developed and feels more like mainland USA than the rest of the Caribbean with a thoroughly American feel, large shopping malls and Hotels across the island.

January and February are the coolest months on the island with high's of 82°F (27°C) and night time lows of 65°F (17°C). Summer temperatures peak in July and August with daytime highs of 92°F (32°C) and night time low's of 82°F (27°C). High humidity in the summer months can often make the days and nights feel hotter. Typically the rainest time of year is from May to November, with the most rain coming at the start and end of this period.

December to April

Generally the weather on the island is good all year, with the trade winds ensuring it doesn't feel too hot. The peak season runs between December and April.

 

The island has more than its fair share of dive sites. With crystal water and visibilities up to 150 feet there is world class diving to be experienced here.
