The Turks & Caicos remain one of the more secluded Caribbean islands with white sand beaches and clear blue water. Whilst developments are on the rise, you can easily find more secluded spots on the island of take the short boat trip to Grand Turk, which is the gateway to the largely unpopulated Turk islands. There are plenty of marine parks and good diving spots to keep you interested and with a heavy focus on eco-tourism hopefully it will stay that way.

During the summer (June to October) temperatures range between 29°C (85°F) to 32°C (90°F) and dropping only a few degrees in the winter to between 24°C (75°F) and 25°C (77°F). Cooling Trade winds ensure that the islands maintain a comfortable year round temperature.  It is worth noting that the islands to the west have a higher annual rainfall and hurricanes are possible between June and October. On the whole the islands have year round sunshine.

December to April

Like a lot of the Caribbean the Turks & Caicos can be considered a year round destination, however the peak season.

Typical diving for the Caribbean with coral outcrops and sandy bottom dives, in a laid back atmosphere.

Direct flights to the island are available from the U.S. i.e. travel time to the islands from Miami is 90 minutes. However travellers from Europe will need to fly into the U.S. and then transfer to the Turks.
