St. Lucia is a lush Caribbean island with rainforests and formed out of volcanic activity and white sand beaches. The island has many natural attractions such as the rainforests, Qualibou Volcano and various geothermal springs, botanical gardens and waterfalls.

St Lucia, like many of the other Caribbean islands has a warm tropical climate all year round tempered by the prevailing north eastern trade winds. On average temperatures are between 25°C (77°F) and 27°C (80°F). Generally the driest months on the island are from February to May and the rainy season runs from June to September.

December to April

Most visitors to the island arrive during the high season which lasts from December through to April. St Lucia is in the hurricane belt and as such may be affected by hurricanes from June to November.

St Lucia is not known for its great diving however in our experience it is better than a lot of other islands. Most sites are easily reached by a short boat trip and more importantly the wrecks and reefs are rarely visited by more than one dive operator at a time hence overcrowding is not an issue.

25°C to 26°C (78°F to 80°F)

Most major airlines offer direct flights to the island from the U.S. and Europe.
