Egyptian days are commonly warm or hot, and nights are cool. Egypt has only two seasons: a mild winter from November to April and a hot summer from May to October. The only differences between the seasons are variations in daytime temperatures and changes in prevailing winds. In the coastal regions, temperatures range between an average minimum of 14° C in winter and an average maximum of 35°C in summer. |

Ras Mohammed is arguably one of the best dive locations centred on the Red Sea Coastal Areas. The diving here is very good, however dive excursions are on a truly massive scale, due to the large amounts of tourists who come here to dive, so expect very large dive excursions with small dive boats almost a thing of the past here.

Some of the reefs are over dived and have been damaged by Hotel developments. Some dives which were truly excellent 15 years ago are now unfortunately only average. |
